The Channel Block is a specialized component in our Groove Block system, designed to enhance the structural integrity and versatility of your construction projects. This innovative block features:
- Bottom: A grooved edge (female part) that interlocks seamlessly with the standard Groove Blocks below it.
- Top: An open channel running the length of the block.
The channel design serves multiple purposes:
- It allows for the insertion of reinforcement bars (rebars) and the pouring of concrete, significantly strengthening your wall or structure.
- It can be used as a built-in form for creating concrete beams, eliminating the need for temporary wooden formwork.
- It provides a ready-made conduit for running electrical wires or plumbing pipes within the wall structure.
Sold individually, Channel Blocks are typically used for:
- Creating strong top courses in walls
- Forming lintels above doors and windows
